Shan's career graph as a director has been disappointing...from stuff like Mujhe Chand Chahiye to Moosa Khan, Daku and now this is pretty darn disappointing

Shan is a movie director now?
I have to say I was really impressed by his directed video for Independence Day that was dedicated to Amanat Ali Khan's father (forgot his name). The song was so nice and the video complimented it as well as the emotions very well.

Actually, he debuted as a director about a DECADE ago with his film Guns and Roses: Ik Junoon...and has been making films ever since, though the only memorable (and commercially succesful) one has been *Mujhe Chand Chahiye. *Pertinent to mention here that he is the son of the much celebrated Lahore film industry director Riaz Shahid and a notable actress.

No wonder I didn't know he was a director then if all his movies were so bad. He's a really good actor though, one of my favs.

He's fallen to the dictates of regular commercial cinema favored by audiences with rural origins...his initial films were very urban and slick
