I am happy with my In laws. The best thing about them is that like my Wife they have a strong charcater and are very patient and understanding people… the Worst thing for them is that they ended up with a totally crazy Son in Law… 
Naah seriously I love them for thier sophistication but sometimes the same sophistication can be oh so irritating… I mean one week into my marraige my Father in-Law took me to one side and said if I was happing to attend a certain function.
Now at the time I had no idea what he meant by “function” all it turned out to be was my Wifes childhood friends wedding… but I was thinking… 
Offcourse I have no problem with attending functions but I got rather annoyed during my Wifes pregnancy when every long lost friend, cousin and what not wanted us to attend thier functions like we were some sort of important celebs… oh I hated that bit. But then the In-Laws thought I was being anti-social until I had to tell the good news… my fault for keeping it hidden so long though they would have found out anyway eventually.
