The only fault of Musharraf is that he is trying to be too tolerant. Musharraf should learn how to rule Pakistan. He is trying to give humanly governance to thugs and crooks, not knowing that thugs and crooks become vocal when treated in humanly way. Musharraf should know that in Pakistan, no one in power send references, that is sissy. It was mistake that Musharraf sent reference to SJC and gave disgraced CJ chance to clear allegations on him. Musharraf should have known that Pakistani way of ruling is to kick the person you do not like on their Asss and if they shout than just send them to other side of life.
If President had kicked Iftikhar out of office on 9th of March without giving Iftikhar any choice, than it would have been Pakistan way of governance. If lawyers would have come on road, they should be treated the way Pakistani crooks need to get treated. That is, to shut the media and then use 3rd degree torture, arson (destroying their property and possessions), arresting their family members and killing some of them, disappearance, kidnapping, black mailing and long prison sentences.
[Actually I think that if Musharraf was cleaver than he should have used corrupt Iftikhar for his own purpose (like BB and NS had done). I believe that a promise that his son Arsalan would be made ‘IG police’, would have made Iftikhar an obedient puppy].
That is the language Pakistanis understand and all past Pakistani rulers, Ayub, Yahya, Bhutto, Zia, BeNazir as well as Nawaz, used it on their opponents. Musharraf should know that this is the way most Pakistanis like to get ruled and they respect those who do all this. Could not understand why Musharraf is trying to be different than past rulers?
Actually Mush is doing wrong kind of governance since day one. Musharraf should have known that giving freedom to media, controlling and reducing debt on Pakistan, giving representation at people’s door, controlling police with new police reform, giving rights to women, stabilizing exchange rate, increasing foreign exchange reserves, increasing taxes, making economy boom … etc, these are things that no one appreciate in Pakistan and do not deserve, and many do not even like that, so he should have done what people like and deserve, that is he should have done looting and plundering, should have lived a lavish life and then give people what they like to keep them quite.
That is, Musharraf should have few beds. One bed to sleep with religious retards to keep them happy: He should have declared that Friday is going to be holiday and should have made law that any male not keeping beard and any women without black niqab with two holes for eyes would not get government job unless they produce medical certificate that they cannot keep beard or wear Niqan (that means getting a Rs 5 affidavit signed by notory public officer… like Zia did with Zakat). Musharraf should have also made all banks not to pay interest (Haram… ) and that would have increased bank profits, that Musharraf should have used to take loans and get it forgiven, hence eating up that extra profits and transferring them to Swiss account he should have opened for the purpose. …. And so on.
Another bed Musharraf should have is to sleep with corrupts, because corrupts are very loyal Bas***ds and never leave their patrons, so in time of need, corrupts would have come spending billions to boost Musharraf image amongst public, as today they are doing for NS and BB.
Another bed Musharraf should have is to sleep with politicians. That means letting all politicians to do corruption as much as they can and help them cover their corruptions. In this way all politicians would have been loyal supporters of Musharraf.
Another bed Musharraf should have is to sleep with western powers, allowing them to do whatever in Pakistan, as long as they give money to get it transferred to his Swiss account, and make sure that nothing comes in media.
If Musharraf had done all what I mentioned above to rule Pakistan, that would have been ruling Pakistan Pakistani style, and in that situation, Ifti would not have been any problem and lawyers would be praising Musharraf everywhere.
Summary:
As Mr. Saleem supports a terrorist organisation MQM, he is suggesting some terrorist means to his favourite dictator to extend his illegal tenure....and he is rediculing the whole Pakistani nation by calling these illegal things as Pakistani style....he thinks Pakistanis do not support/deserve rule of law...not to mention author's homosexual fantasies by imagining same sex people in bed so frequently....and his criminal mindset by suggesting kidnaping, murders, use of brutal force and all sort of illegal actions>>>>
