Is there any Govt v/s muslims prejudice going on? A lot of social media posts are full of contents highlighting some bigotry steps taken by Govt, like steps against hijab etc?

Well we were spoiled. 
Now Canada is changing a little to be more like US or Europe.
They passed bill where police can stop any one and detain for questioning.
Same time in Ontario sex Ed thing came up.

They're making more of an issue out of the niqab, particularly at the citizenship oath. The courts have already ruled against its ban 3 times now. The current ruling party is trying to ban it. All of this is stoking anti-Muslim sentiment.
Just like the Quebec government some time before, they are using this non-issue to distract from real issues, such as economy etc.

Why is the Niqabi Pakistani woman suing the government to attend citizenship ceremony in full burka? She should head to Saudia or stay in Pakistan, if she wants to remain in Burka even for official identification. Why live in the bad Western society? Wearing a full face Burqa is not even compulsory in Islam. She is responsible for stoking the anti-muslim anxiety, not the Canadian government.

Identification has already taken place by the time the oath is taking place. The ban by the goverment was overturned and they sided with her multiple times. So she's not doing anything wrong. The government on the other hand is making it seem like a big issue when it's insignificant.

Suing to wear the Burka is hypocritical and amount to religious blackmail of the gullible since it is not compulsory in Islam. When she applied for Canadian immigration and went to the embassy, did she not show her face then? Let's not compare anything with Saudia where every woman is forced to wear veil.

She challenged their decision, which the courts also found unconstitutional. I don't see why it's hypocritical. The women who wear it do remove it for the second or two needed to identify them.

Not in my city . Not just the expats, now many Saudi women roam about unveiled too... Some with their hair showing even.
So yes, things have changed a lot.

No. It is everywhere here . Ask anyone who lives here now. Many unveiled women without any problems.

Hopefully you are not lying due to saudi love or "islamic brotherhood" etc. There are many reports of women getting arrested even with hijab not so long ago in the news.
