If you need "promise" from someone for something, there is something wrong somewhere else.
Well she should learn from her experience.... Frankly, she should go with her gut feeling about the guy and whether she feels satisfied with his explanation and clarification for being disappeared for one whole year... No one in the world can guarantee about the guy... not even the guy himself...
