One of my friends, that incidentally isn’t my friend anymore, did something similar and she was married too. I think after that incident I would leave it alone for the cheating party to learn and realize rather than try to talk them out of it.

She left me as her friend since I was trying to talk her out of it and even if there was cheating she is happily married. No judgment. Too many couples where there’s cheating involved, for the desi ones divorcing is worse. Hey as long as theyre still married in society’s eyes anything goes since it’s all hush hush and divorce is a bigger sin. I’m so put off by what I’ve seen. For me faithfulness in marriage is paramount, from my side.

I’m not even sure what this means. The point in my post was to treat others they way you’d want to be treated.

Why don’t you share you views on this? If a friend of yours knew for a fact that your wife was cheating on you, would you want that friend to share this information with you?

What does Islamic teachings tell us in this case?
may be i am not right but even if my friend knows for sure … i wouldn’t want to know fron him.
