EXACTLY…that proves my point! Prophet [SAWS] marrioed Zaid’s [r.a] EX [after divorce] to prove that the adopted child is NOT his son…there was parda observed between ummahaat ul momimeen and Zaid [r.a.]…Allah ordered Prophet [SAWS] to marry Zaid’s divorced wife to DISPEL this notion. this marriage was to show the to the ummat that adoption in Islam is NOT permitted!
