Maniac – Its very simple. You are the guys friend, so you have every right to voice your opinion about the whole situation. You can also give your friend advice - but the final decision rests with your friend. As far as the kissing, how can a guy just kiss a girl full on the mouth - and she not do anything if she was against it. What I mean is, she could easily have pushed him away,slapped him - done something.Did she do anything or er just let it happen? If esp it was a public place, why did she let him even touch her? I find it a bit odd.
Anyway as for the friend of yours - let him deal with the situation in his own way . However, let him know it wont kill him to go and have a face to face talk with the other guy. Dont get violent, since it will not solve anything, and could get your friends into further trouble. Plus they can report it to the police, I mean it was assault.
As for the whole is the gf the property of the guy . No. But if I was assaulted and he just wrote emails to the other guy, I would slap him to some sense. If he is her bf, he should make sure he does something when she is kissed by some moron against her will. Assuming she isnt/wasnt able to herself..
