‘Lost’ writes in the thread “Dress Code”:

One of my friends had this issue with her hubby. After marriage, he wanted her to stop wearing skirts/short sleeved tops etc. The first few months they constantly fought b/c she would try to reason with him. Finally she got tired of all the arguaing and one day, sat him down, and told him that she will NEVER change the way she dresses for anyone else, and that if her choice of clothing bothers him that much, then he should just divorce her. She told him she never wants him to nag her about her dressing…if he doesn’t like it, he can just divorce her b/c she has no intention of changing it.

My friend told me after that day when she very sternly told him her thoughts, he hasn’t nagged her about it since…and this is almost 2 years ago.

Seems like lost’s friend was very PROUDLY bragging to her how she subdued her husband and it also seems like lost has learned a lesson from her and plans to follow suit.

My question to you guys is what would you do if a gal were to sit you down and tell you VERY STERNLY that she will NEVER change.

Here is my reaction:

I would, without taking a moment to think, throw her out of the window.

What would YOU do? Please share your thoughts. It is important that you enlighten the ladies on this board how we men hate being sat down and lectured and that not all of us are wusses!

therefore I will state my views

I would consider this

I can either say "Git outer my house"

and then get have to cook, clean, look after the kids, do the shopping, go to work my self OR spend ages looking for a well covered wifely no two... and go through the marriage palaver again

OR I can say... "Its you call", and carry on with living my nice comfy life with a an independent , strong woman

You know what tell her to go on a long drive. Women hate driving she will drive miles out of her way to avoid the possibility of getting lost using a shortcut. Just like that you are alone in your home for two years
