I googled her because I thought Naaah she’s probably showing a bit of thigh but OMG!! She’s a proper glamour model!!! If she was my daughter man I would die of heartbreak firstly because if my daughter turned out like her I’d feel like its all my fault and I haven’t brought her up right. Secondly because this is totally not what Islam is about.
I would just tell her to get out of my house. I’m sorry I know your children are your children but I can’t think of anything worse than my daughter being THAT westernised that he would think being a glamour model and showing her body that way. I’m totally against that especially how I’ve always been a modest dresser myself! And considering that I wear a hijab now.
I think what she’s doing is totally wrong and I can’t even thinking of its better her doing that than something worse.
Btw when I googled her there was a photo of her with a caption next to it saying something like oh I hope me doing this gives the confidence to other Pakistani girls to showcase their beauty! YOU WHAT???

accepting it in a manner that i don't start asking for her death fatawas is fine, but accepting in a manner that i start thinking that it's okay or start promoting and encouraging her would be wrong.

For those who aren't aware...there's a big difference between high fashion models vs "glamour" models...glamour models are (and feel free to have a fit over my choice of the word) slutty..whereas high fashion models, while having to adhere to a different body type, model mostly clothes...clothes which may or may not be revealing and are just out there...
Do you think people would generally be okay with THAT kind of modelling (as opposed to pornstar-esque modelling?

Btw, what is a proper glamour model? If you are glamour model, then you are a glamour model, but the only line could be nudity. Though, I don't know how we would define nudity considering what models wear these days.

All in all, she is just an example of how the moral decay and degeneration of this world effects everyone; just being a muslim/pakistani isn't going to protect you or your offspring from the malaise, you need to be active in combating it by practicing your religion properly (not tending toward one extreme or the other).

So as long as they are not slutty while strutting their stuff, it should be ok? Hmmm I guess you are making an argument like drinking one / two glass of beer is ok as long as you don't get drunk, which is the actual reason why drinking is prohibited in islam.

She works at a nissan dealership. I think she does this all for money. She is not the only desi example to be honest. There are so many like her. I wouldn't approve of my child doing this. I don't think she is pretty at all. Hot body though.

You should read some of the exposes by some former models of what kind of crap they had to go through (mostly sexual) from cameramen, agents, etc. It's all BS in the end and people are only in it for the money. Once you've sold your soul for the almighty buck, it's impossible to go back.

For all those who are saying they’d kick her out of the house, honestly people would that be enough? I am so angry just thinking abt this, I’d actually do major physical harm to her. Chop off those fronties if need be, Even out of the house she is my daughter and NO WAY IN HELL is she going about like that. I dont care if I have to throw acid on her face or burn her alive.

Leaving her to the world? Sure, you think she even wants to stay at home? Shes already jonesing to live apart. A girl in our close family friends went this nuts. Ran away from home and now does all sorts of weird naked stuff, tattooed all over and drinking

I think the poster made it clear that it is glamour modeling. But, I guess you think high fashion modeling is honorable, even if it shows skin, because it is not slutty / ho'ish unlike the intent of this model here.
