What would you, as a parent, do? I talked w/ my fiance about this and at first he was horrified by a desi girl doing that AND her family knowing about it and accepting it (her siblings often comment on her half-naked pictures on FB ) but eventually he realized it’s totally her call and her life. Plus, she wasn’t going out and causing any intended harm to anyone and was way better off than some psycho suicide bomber.
From what I have read she is honest and sweet, so I guess I can appreciate that. Plus, she is very pretty. But if I had a daughter, I in no way would support this kind of a lifestyle. And I would make it very clear that she is now allowed to ever step into the house if she carries on doing it (given the daughter is an adult and not a teenager who still needs my support ). Obviously I wouldn’t abandon my child but this is unacceptable, even for me, someone who’s a lot easy-going about a lot of stuff.
Also, this wasn’t said based off Islamic reasoning, since Tahmeena isn’t a muslim according to her, but even if she was what she is doing (exposing her body and posing nearly nude) is way better than what those people do that kill innocent people, cause harm to children or people amongst many things. My point is: it could be a LOT worse.

Also, there's an adult actress although she is Indian by name of Sunny Leone who has a family (Sikh) who are "okay" about it even though she said her family is very strict and traditional. So what would you do as a parent had your child turned out like this or wanted this kind of a lifestyle?

I disagree that posing nude/having sex on film isn't as bad as killing people...Its still pretty bad!
and honestly, no normal person wakes up one day and decides "Hey I want to be a porn star!"...it takes years and years of creating that mentality/self esteem that someone would want to do this and think its an acceptable way of life.
and by the way...not all, but a good # of sex workers (including "actresses" and prostitutes and models etc) were at some point raped/sexually abused before they entered their profession..

Anyway I googled, and boy that was a silicon overdose :lol: I am sort of leaning libertarian on it, though it is not to say if she was my daughter then I wouldn’t have a “talk” with her and perhaps cut off family contact to show disapproval, but ultimately, an adult makes his or her own choices, right?
I mean what would you do if you had a son who was gay or a lesbian daughter like beat them up / kill them other than kicking them out of the house? It isn’t really hypothetical for me, since I know of one relative who is going through it and he is basically cut off from his family and friends because of the “shame” associated with what his offspring is doing.
