^ sure is … but then let the OP call it what it is … why disguise it as “academic” inquiry?
there are tons of academic article available on psychology of cohabitation, as well as extramarital affairs.

To that I agree , call a spade a spade and save lot of aggravation , name calling , metal torture , verbal abuse and fights.
