I was watching Neighbours,of all things,when there was a BBC news flash.I tell you, I went ice cold as my sister was attending a breakfast meeting in Windows of the World restaurant.
Have not watched a single episode since.

And they did think it was a bomb at first…they were told to evacuate.

OMG Charmed, that is horrible…Im so sorry for your family. Allah only knows what your parents and you must have gone through. May Allah swt grant her Jannatul Firdaus.

I was working when it happened. I used to work as a trainer for a fitness chain and the whole gym went quiet…all the TVs were fixed on the news and people were just staring.

Later that day, one of my co-workers erupted at me…yelling all sorts of crazy things like “how could your people do this to us” and swore at me (he was a Jehovah’s witness).

He was fired on the spot.

My bro and a friend were at university that day. So they took this elevator with some guy. When this guy got off and the elevator was closing, he ran out and screamed at them and said “I hope you’re happy now”.
