Yeah, muslims never drink, right? This thread is doing fine.
Re: What was your first experience with alcohol?
^He did not say "never" He said, u will find them 'not supporting it' because you know how peepz have to live up to the 'holier than thou' pressure (those that do drink full heartedly, will rarely come clean about it in the open). Samjha karo yar. We're being actually nice to you and entertaining ur thread ....therefore indulge all that u can muster.
Re: What was your first experience with alcohol?
it waz trippy
I think if you are living in a non-muslim country, you must not be so restrictive about what you can and can't do.
My younger brother is very much into religion (following the right path and be the best you can be) and he QUIT his job because they were concentrating on promoting Alcohol and non-halal stuff. I think it's a bad decision in this economy - because there are no jobs out there! (He did not want anything to do with promoting Alcohol with advertisements and stuff).
I don't see Allah helping him find a halal job ever since he quit.
He's a true believer. He made a great decision, be proud that you have a brother like him in a world of today. Forget the economic situation, it's all going to end one day, maybe tomorrow, we never know.. But no matter what, we will be answerable to Allah.
As for alcoholic beverages, I never had any, Alhamdulillah and I never intend to either. Since I am Muslim, Alhamdulillah, I was pretty much immune to the peer pressure to drink. They openly promoted drinking in university. When they offered me alcoholic beverages, I would simply tell them that I'm Muslim, so I don't drink. Nobody had any problem with that. Even if they did, it's not like I would care anyway.
This IS a secular forum. I didn't bring religion into my post and I think we should keep secular - believe me there is enough wrong with Alcohol even on a secular basis.
No, please don't bring in the man-made secularism into this. We are majority Muslims on this forum, and it's run by Muslims, so we call ourselves a Muslim community. No secular garbage please. Thank you.

Yes I am proud of him spiritually and I pray that he find a job soon. Ameen. May Allah help him stay in his right path, so many more can follow by his example.
Re: What was your first experience with alcohol?
always enjoyed responsibly .. first experience was in the bar, celebrating some birthday.. never tried drinking to pass out or become danger to others..i think first time it was something from the tap...
used to shoot pool a lot on weekends, slowly had circle of colleagues that started home invitations ... beer pong (beer, table tennis) started kicking in.. so mostly it was done with games/celebrations
Plus, this was my way of making this thread useful and make people come out of their closet ![]()

Nonody drinks alcohol sitting in a closet. If they drink they drink out in the open. :halo:
Ab tu Itnee bi MuyasiR nahi MaykhanaY mein jiTne k Hum choR dia karTay thay PaymaaNay mein
what does that mean?
in high skool, seeing everyone do it , so i allways got curious bout it, and one day i got heartbroken by someone, so thought of being a devdas lolz
ditched skool wit my buds, and got a drink. first i tried it witout mixin anything into it. and damn it tasted like EWEEEE. like those sprits they apply on ur wounds in paki.. lolz so since i had to act cool, i mixed it wit dr.peepper. it still tasted bad. and yea , after dat lolz i neveer tried or wud ever want to try it agian.
I’ve also seen a fair number of cases where some of my colleagues have made a fool of themselves after getting drunk and that’s acted as a secondary deterrent for me to stay away from booze. The downside… I end up being the designated driver most of the times.
same here

Look, I'm not asking you to be "nice" to me or not. I just had a question for people who have been around alcohol.
How would I know? I never had any experience. Thanks for the kind info :halo:
