Salam Brother: Let me Answer you (What is Wahabi??)
Wahhabis who follow Ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728/1328) confirm that the organs of
God is physical entity and Allah is firmly seated in the trone.
sometimes called the Salafi school, is an early modern, 18th century offshoot of the Hanbali madh’hab. Although defeated and deprived of influence in 1818, new life was breathed into the Wahhabi movement in the early 20th century by the ascendancy to power in the Arabian peninsula on the part of the Sa’udi dynasty. See the brief but useful summary of the Wahhabiyyah by Bulend Shanay of Lancaster University.
Regarded by non-Wahhabis as an extreme fundamentalist version of Islam, the Wahhabi school–which is anti-Sufi and anti-Shi’i-- is dominant in Saudi Arabia and very influential throughout the rest of the world. While a small minority of Wahhabis are militant, the Wahhabi school as a whole should not be characterized as militant, even though historically it was militant. Certainly, for example, most Saudis are not militant today. Hence readers should be careful to distinguish fundamentalist extremist Islam from militant Islam. The confusion is compounded in Central Asia, particularly in Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, where fundamentalist extremist Muslims are generally militant. Today, in Uzbekistan, the term “Wahhabi” is in fact synonymous with a fundamentalist extremist Muslim militant.
The Shia firmly believe that Allah has NOT got a body, nor face, nor hands,
nor fingers, nor legs. Shaykh Saduq, one of the most distinguished of Shia
scholars says:
“Verily, Allah is One, Unique, nothing is like Him, He is Eternal;
Hearing, Seeing, Omniscient, Living, Omnipotent, above every need. He
cannot be described in terms of substance, nor body, nor form, nor
accident, nor line, nor surface, nor heaviness, nor lightness, nor
color, nor movement, nor rest, nor time, nor space. He is above all
the descriptions which can be applied to His creatures. He is away
from both extremes: Neither He is just a non-entity (as atheists and
in a lesser degree Mutazilites implied), nor He is just like other
things. He is Existent, not like other existing things.”

Please pay attention to the emboldened words. I am not picking on the poster here but trying use this post to make a statement. Its the use of words like these that has created divisions among muslims and so many runaway interpretations of the religion of Islam. The source of Islam is one and unique, the variations are among the muslims and their behavior. There are no variations in Islam, it is a singularly unique religion. When we characterize the issues among muslims they should be attributed to the people or muslims not the religion itself. The religion and its sources are very constant, its the behavior of muslims that changes and gives rise to different views of Islam.
The issues would be more lucid if we were to use words as:
Militants among muslims.
Extremists among muslims.
Muslims rulers from the Saud Dynasty.
To unify muslims, we first have to get rid of all these ridiculous names for Islam and categorize them by schools of thought or behavioral pattern or political aspirations not different versions of the same religion.
lol. many people who might gonna call me jahil, and there are others who when gonna hear that i am a fine arts students they might gonna think that i m not a good follower.

To cut the argument short, Wahabis are those who believe in Allah as He has described himself in the Quran...correct?
Brother, that ain't Wahhabism...thats ISLAM, and the person with that belief is not Wahhabi but a MUSLIM.
Please use the correct terminology next time. Thank you very much.
