Re: What to pack in the overnight suitcase
Put the list back up Dems, or PM it to me please.
Also, don't forget if you're getting your nose pierced, then take with you a small nose stud in case the hole closes up.

For those brides out there who are packing for an overnight suitcase, post shadi function if they have some sort of hotel room booked, here's some random advice of what I packed for mine:
-two casual clothes
-two formal ****
-one pair of comfortable shoes , flats for wearing with the casual clothes. I figure the heels from the shadi dress can work with the formals if need be. *************************-Some artificial jewelry matching with the casual and formal you've packed. It would be good if the artificial jewellery is something which can go with all four*****
The above are just in case I don't feel upto opening the bigger suitcase immediately and also in case the hotel stay extends to two days or more for whatever unforeseen reason
-Bathroom slippers/kolapuri. Basically the most comfortable shoes you can think of.**************
**-Empty hard box for jewelry which you will take off. you want to wrap this stuff up in tissue paper if you are going with a box which isn't custom made for your set but rather a smaller one. But it MUST be a hardbox to prevent damage to jewelry.
-Locks and keys x2 just in case
-Own shampoo, normal conditioner and one DEEP conditioner/hair treatment product to work out the backcombing and whatnot
-Murad's deep cleanser (this one is great, use any cleanser but it's better if it's a deep cleansing product. That makeup is stubborn, it lasted the entire day and the spotlights, it won't be coming off easy)
-Night cream, B*****ody Moisturizer* and Apricot Scrub**
-Nail polish remover, cotton balls and cotton buds for makeup removal
-Toothpaste and toothbrush
-Hair scrunchie and hair pins
-No night clothes, waste of space (i figure go with husband's wardrobe for sleepwear)
-My watch of daily wear which goes with everything
-Deodorant** and perfume **
-Hairdryer along with heat protectant serum and hairbrushes x2 (round bristle one and one normal brush)**
-Contraception (I'm putting it out there for you girls. It is your body, just in case have something on hand yourself too, you share the responsibility. Husband might forget after all he has a lot on his plate too)
-Basic makeup (lipgloss, rouge, liner, mascara, blush, foundation)
-M**edications - ibuprofen, paracetamol, ponstan and antiallergic pills
-Dermovate ointment to soothe the skin after application/removal of such heavy bridal makeup (this works wonders in soothing - you could also do an aloe vera based cream)
-**MONEY. In case you need to give any to sarbala or whatever, have 5000 in 500 rupee notes with you
-Socks. Heard this from my married friends, nothing like socks to make you feel comfy and at home. Goes a long way in relaxing you.
Sigh also, just in case you turn absolutely obtuse I'll add this to the list as well
-Tampons/Sanitary Pads just in case. EVEN IF you aren't expecting periods that time of the month, they may occur simply from the stress and tension of it.
