If you assume it’s going to rain the whole time you’re there, anything other is a bonus.

Food wise

Apart from the stufff mentioned in this thread, Caspian on wilmslow road for persian food.

Another oddball place I’ve found is K2Taj Chippy in Manchester (what an odd name) try their persian chips, Chicken Tikka chips, anything with chips really.

While you’re here, head up into the lakes, well worth visiting, TBH stay away from anywhere that has asian people and you should see some nice places.

If you really want a treat, head down the M6 to the Black Country Museum near Birmingham, trust me this place is worth the visit, you can also visit cadbury world while you’re there (there are 2 for 1 coupons floating around the internet)

I can’t believe people here are suggesting she goes to Bradford, WTH? Bradford is a total dive, you’re essentially going into the Ghetto.
The only redeeming feature in Bradford is the M606 out of there.

Omgomgomg. Someone else who likes the Black Country Museum - TOTALLY amazing place. As a local I visit at least once a year and never get bored!
