Emotional matters can be complicated.
Why? Because logic seldom plays a role. We are driven by our desires. Most people will do or have done something silly in the name of love, relationships, etc.

Can you honestly say youve never let your emotions get the better of you and had done something silly?

OP, I would listen to your relatives. I could go on about why this is not a good idea and why you should be careful, but it would just be repeating what everyone else has said. Bottom line; listen to your relatives.

Pretty much what I meant by my entire post telling the OP not to make rash decisions, which is also what her sister is telling her. I am unsure where you found my post to be lacking understanding. And yes we have all made silly decisions in the past based on emotion, which is what my entire post is about. So I don’t understand your first two lines otherwise I agree with everything you’ve posted.
