Not sticking to haram isn’t necesarily about trying to be ‘modern’ and wanting to fit in.. That poster was wrong to label but it’s also wrong of you to make a comment like that (isn’t that the same thing?).. Surely it’s not that hard to believe that some just love their burgers or chicken too much lol and as someone who grew up on an environment where there were no halal shops at all and very few Muslims it’s a habit I’ve also never broken..

If you want people to respect your choice to only eat halal you should respect others and their choices as well..

I agree with you. But this thread was never about questioning my decision to stick to halal, it was about how to handle a specific situation. I find it offensive that this poster had the audacity to label my choices as being “OCD” when I never asked for an opinion about my choices.
