If you fail to not even care about eating haraam food then I don’t even expect you to understand the question. But do refrain from labelling someone else as “OCD” when they are simply following their religion. And FYI both my parents were also born and raised in western countries but this is the mindset with which we were brought up with. It is often those that come abroad later who feel the need to be “modern” and eat everything and anything in an attempt to fit in. No such thing here.

Not sticking to haram isn’t necesarily about trying to be ‘modern’ and wanting to fit in.. That poster was wrong to label but it’s also wrong of you to make a comment like that (isn’t that the same thing?).. Surely it’s not that hard to believe that some just love their burgers or chicken too much lol and as someone who grew up on an environment where there were no halal shops at all and very few Muslims it’s a habit I’ve also never broken..

If you want people to respect your choice to only eat halal you should respect others and their choices as well..
