Re: What the problem with these desis Abroad.?
Whereas you are being emotional, and trying to justify & cover up your fear of going into the unknown(abroad). You are now in a comfort zone, friends, family, relatives - and you are probably to scared to leave this.
I have met fools like you even in India - and then they repent it after several years. They are married with kids and now want to settle abroad - and can't since they have so much more responsibilities.
Actually saying that i have a fear of the unknown is just a little too quick a conclusion.. i have a brother with his wife and children, around half a dozen very close cousins. then few past neighbours in states.. So i think it surely going to be even more comfort zone for me.
Question is does the purpose of my life is only to make as much money as i can.? being a muslim i think u can answer it a little better...
I read a quote of Quaid-e-Azam somewhere, he delivered in Dhaka 1939... i wish i could relocate it and paste the original quote... cuz definitely the wording Quaid used was second to none... But for the time being i m trying to translation of it..
He said " mairee khuaish hai k qayamat k din jab mai apnay Allah kay hazoor paish hoon tu maira zameer mutma'in ho k mainay musalmanan-e-hind kee behtaree k liayae apni himat ka akhree qatra tak sarf kar dia tha".
I m sure he could have earned millions of Pounds working in London but he choose to go for the route which was tough and without much reward only for the satisfaction of his consciousness.
Btw don't get the impression that i m going to change the look of Pakistan.. Neither i believe my efforts will ever match the fraction what the Quaid-e-Azam managed to attain... but nonetheless i want to do something like him for my own consciousness. and ie. to help Pakistan in my own capacity in every way possible for me. and i m sure its going to be a very very tough route... May Allah help me to remain steadfast on the path of righteousness.
ps. i just to make it clear again that neither i am denying the advancements of europe, State and the west and neither i m denying the fact that we have a lot of catching up to do... All i m saying is that its we Pakistanis who have to match their advancements by helping our ownselfs and our fellows Pakistanis and then only Pakistan as a whole will move forward.
If i go abroad and after 30- 40 yrs return back saying that i m going to help Pakistan now, is same as, trying to complete a 6 hr exam paper in last 15 minutes.
