well how about some suggestions?.. do you guys think that short girls pe short qameez achi lage gi? or long kameez?... so far i allways thought that if you arent that tall then it might suit you with short qameez, but today i read the total opposite on the net ! :s
true! but its not as simple as all slim girls luk good in short shirts or all tall girls wl look nice in anarkali dresses 
it nt only abt yr height or overall size but in detail size too :o.
for example i think i am fat but i look nice in short kameez 
so i think its also about how you carry it and where you are fat from!?! lol i dont know how to explain but i think you guys get the idea. Its like a slim girl mite not be able to carry a short shirt because she might be too wide from hips so that makes you look odd in a short shirt…

No matter what body type you are there is a certain style out there for you that will suit you so have no fear.
As for me I am too slim, so finding the right clothing can get very frustrating at times so most of my clothes are usually custom made.

I am getting some long shirts made with capri style trousers (although the capri trousers will sit on my ankle than above) - but how long should the shirt be? I am fairly short. I've had one shirt made that sits half way down my calves but am concerned that now looks silly. Would it look better for the shirt to be just below my knees. What's in?

I agree with that, you have to know your own body, know what suits you and flatters your figure. Whether you are tall, short, chubby, thin, curvy, long torso, short torso, whatever --there is a cut, a style, a look, that suits you so go for that and dont chase after trends that do nothing to flatter you
If u have heavy-hips stay away from short kameez's, If u're very slim you can carry-off anarkali dresses, capri's and even straight-pants. If u're tall and broad mid-length kameez's and kum "ghair" wali shalwars will look great on u. If u're tall and slender churidaar's with short kameez's will also look nice.

If u're short and fat wear single monotones in deep colors and straight cuts..straight trousers/pants teamed with knee-length kameez's =) 3/4 sleeves or even bell-sleeves will work!
You cud even wear a lighter color on top and a darker color bottom if u're 'bottom-heavy" and kum ghair shalwars..
