I’m no expert on the subject but 3 talaqs in one sitting is 1 talaq, thats what I heard from my local maulvi, he’s a Hanafi. Makes sense really, its not like launching a rocket. Its a life changing decision, only makes sense if one has sufficient time to calm down and decide with a rational mind instead of blurting it out with a foaming mouth and all.

True that…although in some cases to hasten the process a couple might want to take it to court to get the divorce done in one sitting. That’s what I’ve seen in Western countries, other countries might have different laws.
