Re: what sort of bridal outfit should a curvier woman wear so as not to look bigger
i am soooo bloody top heavy, im sure my fiance would love it, but i do not...makes all my clothes look wrong and i look almost slutty if i wear anything remotly fitted.

its all about balance, hon. it sucks cos necklines always have to be childishly high but otherwise, it just looks vulgar. i try to just balance things out overall but if i had a choice, i think i'd prefer being bottom-heavy; its easier to disguise!
EXCUSE ME, size 12 is not bulky or a plus size...wow your asians need to get a grip and get out more and stop thinking that unless your a lettuce shaped anorexic you are a plus size..... this is the reason i get aheadache talking to pakistani people cos they are so narrow minded and almost have uneducated thought processes.. everyone back home will identify you as a moti even if you are a normal healthy weight for your height , thank god we get fed here in the west, id be a stick insect otherwise...
Size 12 in the Uk is much less in USA. That picture is USA size 12 but I agree not fat either. And yes Pakistanis are a small petite people with usulaly a body to match and the obssesion for weight(less) is pathetic.
this is seriously the first time i am hearing this kind of hair measurment.... even my salon wali doesn't say that!!!
thats why i was a bit :O
Actually I have heard that thrown around in a few salons myself. They usually use it for long hair. Eg if hair is bra strap length or longer then we charge you extra.

Actually square necklines are better for top heavy ladies. A “v” is actually better, but don’t see that happening with a wedding gown.

from personal experience, i had a square neckline and i think a round would have been better or a V... square tends to cut you off at the chest which only makes it look bigger, i found.

I think it also depends upon your individual body as well. For myself, and I am curvy overall, the square and V do wonders.
