Salams! So I’m trying to find pics of outfits for my mom to wear at my sister’s wedding. Does anyone have pics of what the mother of the bride type outfits? Obviously nothing to heavy, but nothing too simple either. What colors would be good? Pics would be appreciated :D!

**I guess I should have added my mom is pretty traditional so she refuses to even wear trousers or anarkali/dresses. She prefers shalwars with lambi kamizes.
So to rephrase: What are some ideas for kaam and color combos for lambi kamizes?**

my mom is the same. she prefers shalwar kameezs. she perfers a very nice border on the duppatta. i wanted her to wear a sari. but she said not at a daughters wedding....i didnt get that.

I went to a friends wedding and her mom wore white shalwar qameez with a small red border on the duppata...she looked elegant and beautiful to the max.

I'm definitely gonna show my mom all these pics so she can get some ideas! I think shes narrowed down her color choices to pistachio green, peach, and blues.

I think as long as most aunties stay away from sleeveless/showing too much skin and anything too flashy, they can pulll off anything…

My mother wore a black long shirt with gold embroidery on it with gold trouser on my brother's nikah :D it looked fab but we heard some aunty do haye haye she's wearing black on son's wedding O.o*
