Interesting stuff…
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
“Once Cruise divorced Kidman in 2001, Miscavige pushed the idea that he was the Scientology ambassador to the world, and gave him awards and made him feel like a superstar.”
The above reminds me of the following hadees:
"Iblis (Satan) places his throne upon water, then sends his groups. The closest to him are those who (tempt people to) commit the most grievous of sins (fitnah). One of them would approach him and say: I did such-and-such. Iblis would reply: You have done nothing. Another would approach and say: I did not leave him (a man) until I caused him to leave his wife and for them to be separated. Iblis would bring him close to his throne and would say: How good you are!”

The 3rd and the last clip of the documentary is strange. Why would they keep the members in an isolated filthy place all alone to spend several hours? Maybe to allow the filthy devils (filthy shayateens from the jinns) enough time to occupy / possess that specific member to have a better control over them.
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
Read about Scientology years ago. If Scientology and its practices sound crazy so should other religions. I see no difference. -___-
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
^Take the issue of cleanliness. Let’s look only at this aspect. Islam and other religions emphasize bathing, oral hygiene. Sunnah stresses jhaaring your bed before you sleep on it, to not eat food that has been uncovered, to wash hands before eating, etc. Scientology imposes sleeping on dirty mattresses and eating from dirty tables. So…comparing just this aspect alone…it’s common sense to say that Islam is right. One doesn’t even need to be Muslim to recognize that cleanliness is superior to filth…you just need common sense. So even the practices within various religions…when compared…do not come out equally good or crazy. I find your “I see no difference” view to be silly. It doesn’t sound secularly-cool, or open-minded, or modern, or progressive. It just sounds silly.
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
Don’t compare one aspect of it of then?! Let’s not talk about common sense stuff. Let’s talk about religious ‘facts’ like virgin birth of Jesus or Muhammad being God’s favorite person ever. Let’s talk about those. And let’s be honest, those ‘facts’ have as much possibility of being actual facts as there being a space confederation. I am sure nobody or any religion wants you to roll around in your own sh**. Pointless. I find your comment to be silly. No, I find it extremely silly.
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
Peace Theorist
So let’s talk about the virgin birth of Isa (AS) … what do you want to say about it? But really we should not isolate this from the Church of Scientology. For example … which religion requires payment for auditing? What is that parallel to in Islam?
Possibility of being a fact … Muslims say that virgin birth is a very very low possibility - that is why we call it a miracle. Atheists may say something similar. Science does not right off the idea of virgin birth. To say that it is “unlikely” on a chance scale is saying nothing … We accept it is unlikely already. Possibility is not plausibility and there is a greater chance of that virgin birth happening than life being created from non-life.
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
Let me remind you, you don’t believe in God.So you are in no position to talk about this claim.
You can only call the whole God business as a lie.
No travelling in 2 boats at one time please.
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
monk, if that is the necessary qualification to discuss a topic - no one here believes in Xenu. why is this thread active?
one does not neet to believe in an idea to find flaws in stories related to it.
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
There could be to way to negate the claim.
a) prophet was not fav person of God
b)there is no God and stuff.
sounds like she went the “a” way.
In my opinion she should go “b” like your self.
To make it more clear.
How would it sound like me proving he was fav person of God, when other party do not believe in God.
Pretty silly.
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
she’s pointing out something which she feels is an inconsistency in what you believe. i dont see why that is not allowed if she doesnt share your belief in god.
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
inconsistency would be.
Now I say prophet was fav. person.
Now I say he is not.
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
If someone puts two different cars before you and overall you don’t like either of them, you are still able to do a comparison of individual components of the two cars and in doing so you’ll find one will come out on top. Take Islam out of the picture if you’re so averse to it. If any other religion (Judaism/buddhism etc) emphasizes cleanliness in eating and sleeping …then in that aspect it is superior to scientology. You had said that if scientology and it’s practices sound crazy…so should those of other religions and that you see no difference…and that makes no sense. In everyday life, Theorist, you find yourself making a comparison between products and opportunities and experiences…and in the end you are able to discern which one is better …so why does this ability to discern shut off when it comes to comparing individual aspects of religion? I’m not forcing you to accept and follow Islam. I was addressing your view in that you see no difference at all in practices.
Even people who are atheists or who are discontent with the religion of their family and go on a search to find the truth…go through a comparison process of the practices in various religions and their fundamental beliefs. And in the end …even if they haven’t found the truth…they are still able to acknowledge which practices/beliefs of which religions they found to be more logical etc…without submitting to any particular faith.
I have seen you say that you feel uncertain about which religion is the truth…alright…fine. If you don’t want to believe/follow in any religion…that’s fine; your decision. Not wanting to follow any religion, however, should not shut down your ability to assess or discern between practices. So, if you’re uncertain or opposed to religions on the whole and you’re also going to deem all their practices equally crazy…then what is that? Stubborness?
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
Scientology, its all about aliens and sh!t (pun not intended).
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
My religion, the one I was conveniently born into, is the only true religion, and it makes perfect sense. Please don’t compare my faith of birth, err I mean the only true religion, to other religions, thanks. ![]()
- No one religion ever convinced majority of mankind.
- Most people follow the religion they were born into, which of course just happens to be the one and only true and logical religion. How convenient.
- Everything else is illogical and nonsense.
Btw, is it “true” scientology being presented in the video, just saying..
I wonder how many sects, law schools and interpretations Scientology has..
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
She is not interested in good that comes from religion. She is here to satisfy her soul as she thinks religion is inconsistent to reality. No motivation or reason to do good. So they believe just act RANDOMLY and do “whatever” you like. funny these random people are ![]()
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
..So are many other “facts” in most religions. You are I are in agreement. At the end of the day, we subconsciously accept ideas and facts that reinforce our predisposed beliefs. We readily believe those who reassure that our beliefs are correct instead of out right denying something no matter how much we want to believe it. That is true for all of us. It’s human nature. ![]()
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
People!! STOP assuming that I believe or don’t believe in something. Really. It’s annoying. Just because you have a set of unchanging beliefs doesn’t mean others do too.
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
^ But you’ve openly told people here you don’t believe in the idea of God, and that you don’t believe in Muhammad being a messenger.
I’m not sure where you get the bit about Muhammad being God’s favorite person ever. Allah listens to all of us and is there for all of us, and if you do believe that (which I hope you do), then keep trust in Him and He will take care of you in some form or other.
Hope you reconsider Islam. You seem like a normal Pakistani girl, surprising that you’ve got this much hatred for Islam.
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
My beliefs are not set in stone and they will never be, PCG. I don’t hate Islam or or any religion. I used to. I don’t anyway. We believe what we want to.
Re: What Really Happens In The Church of Scientology
PCG I use to think about that too. But when I heard creation story. That we(human) were made and had to go through development slowly. And messengers were going to be sent with message from God during the process.
Now you tell me in the process of development the final message would be given to any one less then most loved ?? It was the message after God would not speak to humans.
It all made sense to me.
I mean people can chose not to believe in God or what not.
But as a story its checks out for us muslims every time!!!
And don’t get fooled by random statements.
Rasool ullah use to spent so much time during night standing up praying to God.
When wife asked why he had to do it, when he is already favoured.
His response was should he not be thank full.
(in my world)
Plus all the hardship he went through..
Seems like Gods favour put people in test to their last limits.
Again we should not get going ever time some one non seriously toss a term on us.
