DITTO on that one!!! All it takes is a the switching around of a couple of letters in that name, and you've got yourself in a huge mess. Plus I've always felt that names like that do better in the motherland than in the West, lol.

Mahnoor cuz here in the west cruel kids can turn it into "manure"..
Oh and the male name "Aas"..obviously kids will turn that into Ass..it means "hope" and this kid will need all the hope his name won't be butchered..

Butt are brave and proud people.
Our Ancestors came from Iran and settled in Kashmir and then became spiritual leaders to the Hindus. We were called Bhatt which is the learned ones or teachers.
Then when we converted to Islam...we became Butt and especially when the British came...they spelled our name as Butt which is also a Scottish Last Name.
So stop making fun of Butts. :)

These stories of pride and bravery don't matter any more in today's world. But I guess if it helps you get up in the morning then go ahead and feel good about them.
