Re: What NOT to name your child (in this day and age)
^ I was gonna say Osama as well.
Jalebi, I think Ayman is nice, I tend to think of Eamonn Holmes when I hear that name lol.
Talib is another dodgy one imo. I know a couple of girls called Fateha which would prob be a bit of a nighmare thru primary/junior school oh and Afaaf which just makes me think 'arf arf'. 'Names' like Pinky, Lovely etc. are pretty bad as well..
Re: What NOT to name your child (in this day and age)
I like asian names. I am naming my daughers: Deepak, sundeep and so on...
But nothing is worse than sukhdeep.
Nothing.
Re: What NOT to name your child (in this day and age)
kaki butt is pretty gross too
^ lol
how about those unisex names that either sounds really girly or really manly?
ie i know someone who named their son abeer i think and that does not sounds manly at all in fact the meaning is "fragrance" or aroma which itself makes it sound more girly
plus i know of someone who named their son Anum!!!.......please spare the girly names for girls only
reminded me of Russell Peters joke, if your name is sukhdeep and somebody is looking for you…
Hey, you sukh-deep?
Well, if I have to, but I dont like it.

This thread represents our obsession with 'appearing' mAdrAn.

Re: What NOT to name your child (in this day and age)
some names just give off sleazey vibe
dilruba
dilkash
husn ara
dil ara
lubna(tricky the meaning is weird)
and definitely rukhsar
PS: i hope no one is named with these here.
what the ..? ![]()
I was wondering the same thing. Tariq is not the worst name out there. In fact, it’s not even that bad. My taaya is name Tariq.
Judging by the angry face, TLK, I’m guessing you’re name is Tariq? Hmmm…does the K at the end stand for Khan?

You forgot the name "sanam." I've heard it enough time in Bollywood songs, but I've also heard of a couple people with that name. lol
Some funny name combinations up there!

Yes and Yes :)
Re: What NOT to name your child (in this day and age)
^ Tariq is not an oudated name maybe Tariqullah or something like that
Yes and Yes :)
So, you're Tariq Khan, eh?
I'm almost done decoding the initials of the GS director.
The mystery that remains is what that L stands for.
Hmmm.....Liaqat? Latif? Luqman? Labib? (me thinks it's either Liaqat or Latif) Hmmm.
add these to the list of first names that you shouldn't use when the surname is Butt:
Fakhar
Amina
Seema
