Since a large number of us is always fighting the battle of the bulge, I thought it would be a good idea to share what motivates you.
For me, its clothes. I love clothes so to look good in them I try to work out.

Im a fitness instructor so i have to stay trim otherwise i wouldnt b setting a very good example!

yeh i wud say clothes motivate me too , if i dun fit into my trousers i kinda get upset for a min and then make it a goal to loose weight.
amani how cool that u r a fitness instructor. can u please tell me sum exercises to tone stomach and thighs .

the wedding is so close and i'm in full-on "get in shape" mode... not sure how much i'll accomplish in 8 weeks, but hell, i'm going to try! i need to be more toned, essentially. so now i do the gym thing early morning before work, and then try and go running in the evening.
i find pilates is really good for tum and abs... have you guys tried it?

hey groovychick , same here wedding in november and i want to get in shape before that too . congrats on ur wedding . i havent even started exercising . damn best start now and cut down on that chocolate . lolz

Mizzrani&Muniya: I love my job! I teach the BTS systems and they r totally fantastic and hubz can neva say im out of shape.
Interval training is the best way to burn fat. U can do interval programs on either the treadmill or bike-or do the relevant fitness classes.
SGC: U’ll b in fab shape for ur wedding! U can do sum good toning in 8 weeks-it takes at least 6 weeks to see sum results. The 1st 2 weeks u lose water-but dont despair-watch the fat burn away after 2 weeks. Dont become obsessed with the scales…muscle weighs more than fat…take sum measurements b4-like of ur waist and then measure urself and see the difference.
Pilates is good for lengthening the muscles…but ive known of ppl to get a lot of injuries from it so im a not a huge advocator of it…i prefer Bodybalance but then im obsessed with BTS stuff! Bodybalance is a combination of Tai chi, ashatanga yoga and pilates.
Girls i have to say this tho-exercise only helps 40% of the way-the rest of it is down to ur diet-esp if u wanna lose abdominal fat. I know it totally sucks!![]()

If i eat too much and can’t fit in to my jeans the next day i seriously need to like fix up my diet FAST!also i need to start drinking loads and loads of water before my skin goes really oily…it gets like that in the summer if i dnt drink enough ![]()

what motivates me is the stunning beauty of my hubby - hes quite the adonis....my goodness. I'm not the type to ogle at men but my hubby is just beautiful.

Whenever i try to overeat i don't know why but this sentence comes from no where in my mind that how weak i am in controlling myself:(
