I speak english fluently but I think in urdu. I understand urdu a lot better, probably that's why.

That's interesting. Most people I've met say only one language. For the people saying they think in pictures, I understand what you mean but I was referring to your inner monologue. For example, if you're working on a problem, sometimes you'll state the facts to yourself.
I wish I thought in Urdu but I speak English far too often for that to happen. I definitely want to make sure my kids can at least speak Urdu properly. "Bill" Zardari anyone?

funny thing…i started punjabi when i was 11…before that i used to think in urdu…and english was added in when i was 13 or so…![]()

i don't think adults think in pictures...ONLY babies do! here thinking means recalling objects in their heads.
