so…when u were a teen or any rebellious phase later… what kept you from comitting blunders and humungus mistakes??

was it

  1. The sense of right and wrong instilled by your parents? ability to resist the temptations or distractions?

or

2.was it your parents Danda…or fear of disappointing/alienating them??

Ammi/Abbu were not strict. Worst punishment I got from abbu was timeout (4-5 time during all of my childhood). Ammi just did dant-dappat

I was going to say I messed up as a teen but not like horrendously. But unless I explain myself fully with an essay people will start telling me off etc

I feel I messed up. Most of that decade was fine but there was one thing I regret.

What is ‘messed up’ for one might not be the same for all.

I didn’t really get a chance to mess up during my teens, i’m making up for it now!

And by the way abba ka danda was the only force which kept me in check most of the time. For rest of the time even danda did not do its magic either. :snooty:

i alwats think of the consequences i may have to face and how my parents would feel about it.. and i always end up backing out and not messing up :blush:

had a well-developed sense of right and wrong, of justice and truth. So even though I was rased without religion, I was just good :hypo:. Moreover, I have no natural desire to be outrageous or extremist. I always tend toward moderation. I’m not thrill-seeking adrenaline junkie.
