me gets up at 7.40, has shower, its 7.50, goes towake up hubster

hubster:huh?
me: come on na.. we’ll be late…
hubster: i dont wanna go to work…im not going to work today
me: plsss
hubster: i dont wanna go to work…
me: ok… its 7.55 though

hubster gets up..goes to shower..
me irons my clothes, gets ready, puts lunch in both bags, makes brekky…
its 8.15…knocks on bathroom and hubster still aint ready..

me: its 8.15!
hubster: coming…!

tick tock tick tock.. hubster comes out at 8.21..

hubster: come on na…its late!!!

I’m sensing a pattern here. But anyway, while marriage is a give and take and a compromise, it is also a LOT of fun and I’ve been married for 6 years and grow fonder of my wife every day. If you’re lucky, perhaps you’ll feel the same way.

yesterday i had a bit of a weak moment... my lower back is jsut about to break... and id been cooking since like 6pm till like 10.30 at night... so i was like majorly stressed and tired...

You were throwing a party or what. How in the world can you take 4-1/2 hours to cook????? I learnt cooking from my missus very recently and learnt more than just cooking. For all Pakistani foods, at the most it takes 1 to 1-1/2 hours to get them cooked. Western and Chinese take even less. And all the pots gets washed by me during the time as well and also when I have arrived from work at 19:30!

For all Pakistani foods, at the most it takes 1 to 1-1/2 hours to get them cooked. Western and Chinese take even less. And all the pots gets washed by me during the time as well and also when I have arrived from work at 19:30!

dinner at our home is served b/w 7 to 7.30..

it takes me 4 or so hours to get dinner served, clean up and then maybe cook for the next day if i know we’re gonna be late or watever

haha…don’t get me started on getting up in morning thing.
when we r supposed to trave somewhere next morning…the night before he would say…
Him:Now pleeease remember, we have to leave early so we all should be ready at 5 am. (its usually a 6 hrs drive trip) I need to arrive there at 12 …ok??
Me:(a bit panicked) ok!!
I go to bed after midnight making sure everything is packed n ready n after sorting out who’s gonna wear what…making sure there isn’t much to do in morning …
at 4 am…
Me: its 4.,…
Him: ummmhmmm
Me:we don’t have much time …I’m going to take shower
Him:ummm…no no …we’ll leave a bit later…
Me: didn’t u say u need to be there at 12…???
Him:hmmm…lemme sleep

gets up at 9 am…in an extra pleasent mood (go figure… )
Him: well, I thought its better to leave a bit later…its difficult for kids to get up that early n they would be cranky all the time…
Me: weren’t u suppose to have some work there…???
Him: oh well, i can do it tomorrow…just get ready now…we are getting late
