That’s self censorship. The American media did not show the actual Danish cartoons either. Media does whatever is good for business.

There is freedom of speech but you can’t force a private media organization to air your message.

There are other avenues though. You could use public spaces, the internet, etc.

Negative news would do better business instead. Also note,New York city council baned use of the word niggar.
