^ exactly. I do not wear make up usually. but have always wanted to go for the dramatic glamorous look on my barat,and a softer more natural look on the valima.

I wouldn't want too natural, simply because I'm a bit of a drama queen,and I would want something striking in terms of eye make up for a baraat. But I'd defo go for a softer look on the valima, or something more relaxed

Dramatic. I've seen desi brides do the "natural" look and in my opinion, it doesn't look the same. With western weddings, where their decor and brides clothing is generally neutral colors, natural looks work great. But with desi weddings, where the decors colors are vibrant, the bride wears a vibrant colored outfit with tons of kaam....add in the gold, mehendi etc.....in my humble opinion dramatic make-up works best with it. Also, with pictures......dramatic make-up also gives it that extra "wow" when it comes to desi brides.
Make-up for engagement, mehendi, and even walima can be "natural"....but for baraat day....dramatic is the way to go. With all the $$$ I'm paying for my make-up....I better look like a professional did it (I can do a "natural" look myself!). Besides, when else in life am I going to be able to wear that type of "dramatic" make-up without looking like an idiot? :D

As simple as possible. The barely there make up and a light dress (which is more about the fabric and cuts than the kaam/ beading).

i had kind of a mix of both, i'd say. i still looked very much like myself, but i had smokey olive/gold eyes and a pinky-brown lip so it wasn't neutral either. naturally glam?

I love the natural look. Excessive make-up is a huge turn off for my hubby (He says it scares him, LoL!!) For my wedding my MUA had used just a touch of foundation, eye makeup, and lipstick.
For the other ceremonies I did my own makeup.
I took good care of my skin though, so there were no blemishes thankfully.

any kind of look that brings out elegance
