Ok I am very frustrated. I have emailed HSY, Nilofer Shahid and so many more in Pakistan. NOBODY has had the decency to reply to me in regards to my walima outfit.

call them! always better than email- i have a feeling they haven't fully caught up to that technology over in pakistan and plus the light goes off so much, its such a hassle checking email.
How would I explain the dress over the phone to them? Ive sent then pics if only they would check them!
Maria at HSY is the worse. She emailed me back to my initial email and I never heard from her since. Its ridiculous! These designers are charging ALOT of money for their outfits and they are internationally recognized ie Paris fashion shows but they cant hire an admin assistant who knows how to check emails.

^ that's weird cuz most of the time she replies to my emails. but yeh it does suck that none of them ever get back to u. these designers really need to have a team of people that are there just to respond to emails and phone calls for inquiries.

Well she replied to my initial email telling me the outfit I want costs nearly $6,000 but when I emailed her back to ask her if she has more photos of the outfit from the HSY portfolio, what material it is and if there is any leniency in the price she decided to not reply back.
I will pay that much if I really like the outfit but I'm not going to blindly transfer money to her in the faith that its HSY. I deserve to know a few details before proceeding!

lol your right its so typical isnt it. You email them then you have to call them to tell them to check the email! I had to do when I was having my mehndi clothes made from the guy who made my mothers bridal clothes. But thats because the poor guy has a shop somewhere in Pindi and not many resources. You'd expect a better service to go with the designer price tags, hena?!

absolutely! and kairos, i think you’re right- they get so much business locally, following up with international clients doesn’t hold much charm for them. hmph! 
Girls I have a question for you. Do you think a bridal shop in Pindi such as FKG or Mohsins could make the below dress or should something like this be left to the designers?

hsy copy.....hmm u suld look first at their work..but i can tell u everybody wuld tell u they can make a gud copy...but if it really looks that..thats another question....
wuld go for an "easier" copy...

HSY are so stuck up I refuse to give them my money. I like Nilofer Shahid and I'm hoping he will email back with some prices.
If all flops. I am thinking of asking this bridal guy in Pindi to send me samples of the kaam and material as well as explain the outfit to me. If he knows exactly what it is I dont see why he couldnt copy it.... on the other hand HSY could just answer the phone or reply to my email!

It's not just designers; the school officials, shop people like Pace, everyone. And because they think they are entitled.
