Hina I can asnwer this question cause I am guilty of doing that very often
Guys can do multi taksing but they are bad in multi processing.
Plus, it takes them some time to shift theri focus, maybe 15-20 seconds
So it does happen that my wife asked me something, at that time I might be watching TV or simply thinking of something. Now by the time I shifted my focus to her, her statement was complete and I was like what was that honey.
or she was like "you did not listen to me at all"
Now I am not saying that she is wrong, what I am saying that Male brain can't shift focus that rapidly. That is our weekness.

I disagree. I think they are both synonymous. Guys can only do one thing at a time. It may seem like we're doing everything at the same time, like chatting with multiple people, waching TV, eating food etc. but we're switching our focus to the next thing. The shift delay that you mentioned may actually be compensated by the technology called "thinking ahead" (this has lately been introduced in some web browsers :)) and can be reduced to a great extent.
Females on the other hand are the true multi-taskers. The can drive, talk on the phone, apply makeup etc, all at the same time. The processing hightens or lessens for the various tasks depending on where more processing is needed, but none-the-less they really are doing everything altogether.

Me angry, no no, we had a coating of snow all over, shovelled snow which is a zen experience for me. not angry at all.

I disagree. I think they are both synonymous.
They are not synonymous. One is physical like lifting a table and putting on shoes at the same time, the other is mental like listening to someone and writing a software code simoultaneously

Phew, big quote. Still learning to edit to only what I need. You are absolutely right X2. With time you get greater responsibility, kids come into the picture, you don't have that much freedom either, with them around, basically, real life kicks in.
But I believe that inside all of us is the desire to feel young again and go through some moments and gestures of romance again. As long as we continue to strive toward that as a couple, take out time once in a while for each other, and from time to time remind each other or suprise each other with the QUALITY of our committment and love, we should be fine. Yes, quantity may be reduced because of the above mentioned factors. But we should be mature enough to realize that.
I agree 100%, and you have to try, it takes effort, effort which is needed, desired and more than worth it, but you cant live in the past and recreate it. an honest effort is required to live in the present, cherish the past, show each other what they mean to each other in the present, look forward to the future. surprising with small gestures and things is good. its small things that show you care, like begum hearing me complain that I miss Uk and I miss my fav soda lilt and I cant get good clotted creme, and her scouring the internet and ordering it for me, or when I heard that she was in the mood for toblerone, and a few days later i picked it up for her. One simply cant say that due to responsibilities, you can no longer have time for one another only, at the same time.
small sincere things...being thoughtful, thats what its about.
when i look at the ex of my pal who was looking for some bollywood movie love, i just shake myhand and wonder why some ppl can be so immature.

X2 is reminding me of Apu in that episode where all the men in the town turned against him because he promised to shower his wife with gifts for 7 days for V-Day (first being a poem published in the newspaper) which made them look bad :(

Another word to add to your rant, "spontaneity", like whispering sweet nothings in her ear while passing her by at a party or giving her hand a squeeze when u accidentally touch. Things like that is what keeps the flame alive (a little).

Truely ... i think its not the sittuation with every gentleman... because ... a person may be loyal to the opposite sex ... and show em all dreams and promises .. etc but .. theres this one thing where you finally realise that such and such person is not right for you ... for a reason ..... but for example the girl may think hes being disloyal to me ...... or there maybe other reasons such as .. as a person may wana be with tthat person lekin CONSEQUENCES .. maybe harsh .. and even possible in many cases that the amily of either couple may not allow their child to marrry into the other family.... and as a result a person becomes majboor .. and has to leave all his / her promises and dreams and follows and keep their parents happy ....

but .. what the point is that not everyone is same ...... same with the girls .. not all are bad ... there are who are really different and then theres some ..who if if you were to jump off a bridge .. they d still ask for more .......
