Truely ... i think its not the sittuation with every gentleman... because ... a person may be loyal to the opposite sex ... and show em all dreams and promises .. etc but .. theres this one thing where you finally realise that such and such person is not right for you ... for a reason ..... but for example the girl may think hes being disloyal to me ...... or there maybe other reasons such as .. as a person may wana be with tthat person lekin CONSEQUENCES .. maybe harsh .. and even possible in many cases that the amily of either couple may not allow their child to marrry into the other family.... and as a result a person becomes majboor .. and has to leave all his / her promises and dreams and follows and keep their parents happy ....

If you are willing to find mentaly mature person, for that you may have to work hard and what not.
Waisay some of the things that you defined are not very far form the truth, like not being romantic to wives as they were to her when she was the girlfriend.
