Once asked Junaid in some interview about the embarrasing incident , happening in his singing career, either him or someother band member replied that the song Goray rang ka zamana , was taken wrong n took in it's literal meaning while it was in satirical and ironic sense , pointing at people's pointless obssession with gori rangat. But it fell flat and ended up being taken for what it was taken.
And dey did encounter the flak wen song was out, for being color-dricrimiating

Yep, I know the story, straight from the 4 members of the VS original lineup... They got tonnes of fan mail and many of those letters were very depressing, girls feeling disheartened because of the song and some of them losing their rishtaz and blamed the song. Since it was never their intention to discriminate, to make up for it they released sanwali salooni in Vital Signs 2.
