Re: What is this mentality?
For God’s sake there’s no comparison between the law and order of karachi and lahore. Karachi is on the verge of civil war. Are you happy with the situation there?

so how IK changed his stance to reveal their ghunda gardi to call them natural alliance with PTI?
Now please come up with mafahimat / munafiqat excuse, because its the trademark of uncle Zardari, most hated person in Pakistan
Re: What is this mentality?
first answer me about this U-turn? We people of Karachi have seen walls of our cities full of nasty slogans against IK and then he could do a big jalsa in our city, without any reconciliation with MQM. come on, Karachiites may be hostage in their homes, but they are not mentally disabled people.
Re: What is this mentality?
^ Zardari is hated not due to his reconciliation, but what he has delivered to the country. He got the country in a bad shape and has left it far worse (terrorism, economy and load shedding wise). Karachi violence is his legacy and even Balochistan issue has been deteriorated.

Yes he did
Re: What is this mentality?
its called being selfish think about yourself your area, baki puri qoum aur mulk bhar mei jai, internations platform pe zalel hon its ok, hamray area mei kam ho raha hi, lagay raho.
to be very honest, this is the very attitude that was followed by some political parties have uttered statements for Taleban '11 May tak ruk jao, hum ajaen'. Why this hum was not detested by those whose conscious is alive?

Karachi is in mess, because of this reconciliation. I'm sorry to define this reconciliation as ' wo haddi jis se her kutta razi ho jae'.
you can edit this, but jo hum logon ne bhugta hai, that require us to speak up like this
Re: What is this mentality?
So hoping for Karachi to bring PTI in power. Wonder how MQM's militant wing will react to that.

Re: What is this mentality?
Disband terrorist wing to murder/kidnap/torture opponents .
Stop Bhatta Khori and terrorizing the general public.
Hand over all the murderers to face the justice.
THEN…even I’ll vote for MQM, ![]()

Reconciliation could have a part, but the biggest reason is incompetence of the previous chief minister. All stake holders of the city need to be brought together on a single point agenda that terrorists will not be allowed (regardless of political and sectarian affiliation), a neutral law enforcing force be put into place and action taken against all terrorists. By the way what kind of reconciliation are we talking about in which the ruling party itself armed its supporters (lyari)?

I was talking to baba n he was saying bacho ne jan khai hui hai to vote pti n ppl are doing for the sake of their children especially mothers even if fathers are not agreeing mothers are wth kids.
Re: What is this mentality?
I have come across few, who have this mindset:
But...
Since they have build an underpass, a small hospital, few sewage lines, few carpeted roads, one should vote for them.
Can someone with psychological background enlighten us on this kind of human behavior?
And how can we make them realize without being insensitive that they themselves will be blamed for what would be unleashed upon them by the very same murderes they elect?
Any ideas?
Sensible people vote for party that helps them directly in all walks of life, regardless of party being in government or not.
People keep voting for those who once elected work for the betterment of community and society they represent to the beat of their opportunity, competently and selflessly.
When voting already elected party, people see conduct of party members, that if they are involved in corruption, nepotism, mismanagement, and misuse of power or not. They can do that only if party members are living with them and not behind high walls of their palaces.
Only idiots and mentally retards vote for corrupts, thugs, thieves, liars, incompetents, and power misuser… or those parties who did not have team that helps and serve them within community in all walks of life directly even when the party was not in power, or vote for people living behind high walls of their palaces.
Obviously, those who think they can get kidnapped, tortured, murdered, extortionate, they would not vote for such party, especially when they are living with the party. So, if they vote they think they would not get kidnapped, tortured, murdered, or extortionate by the party. If such news would come than most of the time they would ignore such news or would consider it propaganda of vested interest (as they never got affected themselves). If voters are educated and well aware of what is happening around them (as Karachi voters) then news of bogus voting would be taken as propaganda of vested interest.
On the other hand, even if there is news of party involved in killing opponents, they would see who the opponents were and how they (voters) themselves get treated. If opponents are killers and tormentors and party stands for them (voters) in response and in process kills opponents than voters would not mind (rather they would consider party as their protector).
Re: What is this mentality?
Good luck mate :k:

Re: What is this mentality?
@syed we discuss this matter dozens of time and you know what my opinion on Karachi solution!
Let me add few words what Muqa said IK ke Karachi mein un poplar hone ki! In dozens of his highness IK mistakes one was he miscalculated the mentality of Karachiests he stupidly make remarks against MQM and few of his words disheart urdu speaking majority and result come up with slogans against him on walls. Latter he realized he make mistake and come forward to shake hand policy. Well, Karachi ruled by various parties before MQM but neglected hardly by main stream parties and result is MQM. Now if PTI want to take karachiets in national level they better don't treat them as in past. Karachiets are mature and have knowledge what is better for Pakistan and Karachi.
In the end Do you can't judge that a civil war situation all in Pakistan? What is the big threat to nation Taliban or MQM?
Re: What is this mentality?
^ TTP is the bigger threat no doubt, but I am also of a firm belief that no political party/religious group should be allowed to have a militant wing. I have my opinion on the reasons of increase in militancy in karachi and how it can be controlled.
