Hi,
I don’t know whether i should be posting here but i thought this forum would be full of ‘insect people’. I have come across to this insect. Its invaded my house and i dont know what it is. Could someone tell me what it is and if it bites…im scared of insects which bite humans…

Is'nt it wrong to kill insects which are not causing you harm?? I nearly decapitated it whilst trying to get it out of the house....I hope i am forgiven for hurting its little head!

There are plenty of earwigs in my garden under an old rag, i think it's their breeding season.

I always had these confused with wood louse. I used to call the wood louse ear wigs.

lol....nah, i think they use their pincers in defense when attacked by other insects, even if they do bite humans, it's not painful. let me go and find some, lets see if they bite or don't.
