i was watching a Pakistan Railways video and i was surprised to see a Railway Station called “JamaiyaN” meaning a “SLEEPY TOWN?” hehe…here is the screen shot of JamaiyaN Station. i’m also linking the video. u can see the station at 0:27 mark. interesting!**

i'm a train enthusiast. i love traveling by train. i haven't traveled by train in Pakistan so its nice to see the landscape and i noticed something else about this video and that is...

...strangely, all the trees on either side of the track are for some reason crooked. they are growing in a very peculiar way. as a botanist, i think its more likely because of a catastrophic environmental impact or less likely some kinda genetic defect.

the landscape is amazing...all of a sudden trees disappear and it become more like an arid zone. i enjoy this kinda videos.**

YES Obama saaHib, u r absolutely RIGHT. i’m sorry i misread the station name. i checked on Google Map and its there. this small town is on the Karachi-Lahore Mainline between Lodharan and Sahiwal. here is the map:

i never heard of this word b4. never read in any urdu literature. sounds like its a regional word spoken in certain areas.
