How can anyone try and justify these recent london attacks.
I have someone say to me that he’s happy this happened, so now the britisher mothers are crying just like the arab women cry. And i was shocked at this view…
How can someone justify innocent human killing, how can someone even try to classify it as islamic behavior. In the lives of the Prophet and the Sahaba there is no example of such barbaric behavior…

I remember on the morning of 9/11 i asked our imam (mohammad) if this was justified, he said there's no way this is justified.
I still believe the same.
Killing civilians was never the way of a good muslim.

Maniac if somebody hurt a member of my family or killed somebody I loved. Or I saw a child blow up infront of my eyes or shot or stabbed. I would at that moment think of nothing but hurting the murderer in the same or worse a manner.
But that would be anger. It would be hurt.
In the end it doesn't bring the dead person back.
Justifications for these attacks? There never was, never is, and never will be a justification for taking the life of an innocent person.
And I hope that people who think otherwise, come to some sense and realize this.
How can people hurt others so much? Do they have no feelings of their own?

Last week in WA there was a thread where the poster declared, "Americans (and presumably Brits by association) are the most evil people to ever walk the face of the earth."
I challenged that statement, because it was so outrageous.
But, when propaganda paints an entire people as evil, bombs such as the ones today become easier to rationalize. Outrageous claims, bizzare vilification, conspiracy theories, exaggerated casualties all seek to inflame hate. That hate brainwashes deviants who believe that they are doing Gods work by damaging the "evil" society. The only defense for this is to challenge the mechanisms of hate. Attack the propaganda, challenge outrageous claims of responsibility, in other words, encourage rational thoughtful and factual thinking.

Let us for now, think, why are we bringing religion into this? If he happens to be one, why would he be a ‘Muslim’ bomber? Why not an Iraqi? Why not a Pakistani? Why a Muslim?

Lajawab, I thought you were a sunni ... you know the ones who at least claim to follow the sunnah of the Holy Prophet in all walks of life. But I guess Sun-Tsu makes more sense at times, huh?

^ He would be a muslim bomber because he will claim to be doing the work of god, recite a few suras and be named mohammed or some other muslim-ish name and will belong to a group that has just the same right as any other muslim in claiming their muslimness. furthermore, he will call other peace loving muslims as non-muslims, just as he is probably being labeled. BEcause according to his interpretation, God loves dem infidels BBQ'd.
SO the debate isn't with non-muslims on whether he is a muslim or not. His justfication to be a muslim seems just as great as someone who is quite the opposite to this terrorist but shares the same faith. The debate of who is a muslim and who is not, is between those who blow up innocents and those call them non-muslim as per their interpretation of these actions.

I’d actually be surprised if Iraqis were involved at all … for all the excuses Dubya made about trying to link Iraq to terrorism, few Iraqis have ever even been accused of being terrorists in the past 4 years.

actually the lajawabs of the world who even try to justify such attacks in theory give the intelligence agencies of the world ideas to execute them.. when sympathy to such atrocious acts exists within a group, others simply exploit it and get away with blaming the group on the whole.
it doesn't matter muslims don't commit these acts.. all that matters is that there still are many misguided ones who endorse it silently or publicly and would if given a chance..
