What is the rationale....

Re: What is the rationale....

Why would someone willing to do this have to have a personal connection to Iraq?

Re: What is the rationale…

how do u defend ur religion when stuff like this keeps happening, and not a small scale either

Re: What is the rationale....

^ Let me ask you this, How did tony blair defended sending the troops over to kill Iraqis? I think that was on even larger scale. You know all the lies about Iraq have pretty much a common knowledge now, but Bush and Blair has the audicity to keep on repeating the same crap over and over again. These attacks or 9-11 attacks (if proven to be by Muslims) were not on the so called "way of life" or "our values", they were a direct result of wrongdoing and manipulation of populace abroad.

Re: What is the rationale…

Bhai…Why should I be executed? What have I done? Are my opinions that bad that they warrant an execution? What next, thought crimes? Oh wait…There’s the ‘sympathizer’ category too…

The thing is, the opinions of Lajawabs give you a bad image…As a result you subconsciously wish for the Lajawabs to be executed because they hold a different opinion…Bhai jaan…You are not your brother’s keeper…So curse away at the Mullahs, the Moulvis and anybody else that gives you a bad image…

Re: What is the rationale....

unbelievable. u must be blind

Re: What is the rationale....

^^ It's not your religion, and frankly even the most Islamaphobic person is able to distinguish extremists from peaceloving people. On the other hand, religion has not been used to help either. Recently in Afghanistan 650 mullahs jointly removed Mullah Omar from his position as a leader on behalf of Islam in thier country. Pretty extraordinary really.

The problem is in the past, there have been statements that condemn violence, and then without pause they say the understand the frustration and the circumstances that led to it, immediately dilluting the condemnation to worthless.

My guess is that things will get much worse for Muslims in England. Refugee and immigration policy will be questioned, suspicions raised and tensions heightened. The Brits have been very tollerant of Imams at some dubious mosques. I would expect that things will change a bit, Brits are not Spaniards.

Re: What is the rationale…

I doubt it. Britain has a very different mentality to the USA, one that is even much more tolerant than the Spaniards.

Re: What is the rationale…

I remember someone in US who took gun and shot some “Muslims”, even a Sikh was killed because he looked like a Muslim… so there.

Re: What is the rationale....

I know and i hope i'm right in believing this...it won't affect Brit Asians much. I don't think we'll be spat on and the rest of it. Brits are a very tolerant lot. Manchester must've been shocked but had i not known there were no going ons to suggest something sinister had just occured down the road.

Re: What is the rationale....

Britain had to endure 2 decades of bombings by Irish terrorists, and not once during that period were restrictions placed on Irish immigration into the UK. I have no reason to fear any form of restrictions on Muslims.

Re: What is the rationale…

no we dont become like them. If they hit us once we should hit them twice with a more forcefull blow.

:k: Lajjo

Re: What is the rationale…

But they can’t tell the difference between a Muslim and a Sikh…:2guns:

Re: What is the rationale....

Lajawab, that is the point. For all this "War on Islam" talk, as of 9/11, most Americans couldn't even identify a Muslim. How do you declare war on people that are so far off your radar that you can't even identify them to hate them properly?

Re: What is the rationale…

The whole world is off the radar for Americans…If the world was in radar, there wouldn’t be this war…The world beyond your radar is upset at this war and no matter how you try to justify it, the world beyond sees this brutality as it is…

And is willing to do something about it at an individual level…This time deliberately below your radar…

Re: What is the rationale…

let’s hope so Maddy…

Re: What is the rationale…

how did you feel when they killed off those innocent pakistanis, beheaded them in the name of justice :k:

Re: What is the rationale…

So if they commit one evil sinful act against us, the reaction should be to commit 2 evil sinful acts against them?

1000 years ago the Crusaders assaulted Al-Quds and slaughtered the Muslims in the city such that the floor of Al-Aqsa mosque was knee deep in the blood and hacked body parts of the Believers.

But when Salahuddin recaptured the city, did he order anything as sickening? No! Rather, he allowed the city’s Christians to leave completely unharmed.

We are the Ummah of Rasoolullah (pbuh), the best nation on earth. We should act like it and let our example, our behaviour, show us to be superior to all other peoples. Let our example be such that the other people admire us and become part of us.

Re: What is the rationale…

bhai jaan maana English is not your first language but seriously…

Re: What is the rationale…

Neither is it yours, right?

Re: What is the rationale…

I did’nt think you were that naive…when Salahuddin and the Crusaders fought, the battles were between forces who had a lot more parity in resources and armament…Today’s scenario, where one side is overwhellmingly dominant and stronger, the only way to confront them is through low-intensity assymetrical warfare…Give the Palestinians and all the rest of the oppressed peoples of the world f-16s, Abrams, M1A1s, Apaches and etc…and they too would take up the honorable method of bombing their adversaries into smithereens from 30 thousand feet…
