Whatever happens, happens. This is democracy. Turkey recently had elections followed by wide scale protests in which people protested right in front of the EC and parliament. Protests are a part of democracy.

Problem is, Pakistanis are used to the lame duck democracy of the 90s, and they are used to you-scratch-my-back style of politics, and never thought that a viable 3rd option would arise. The current problem that people have is not with the long march. Its with the fact that there is a 3rd party that is very likely turning out to be the most popular in Pakistan. It is the dynastic $hit lot that is worried, not mainstream Pakistanis. Mainstream Pakistanis have always rejoiced whenever and however either of these parties were thrown out.

The problem is this third option can never get elected in any free and fair elections in this country due to ground realities. Thus this is choran tamasha.. being referred as revolution. BTW where are wide spread demonstrations in every nook and corner of the country against this pathetic government ???
