I haven't seen hijabi's showing cleavage or arm in arm with guys, but I suppose it can happen. What I do see are some hijabi's who suggest modesty and dedication to their religion, wearing pants so tight you wonder how they got them on, and shirts so short, you can see their stomach. It makes me wonder too...all I've come to realize it modesty's in your heart and mind..not necessarily in a hijab.

Modest may not be in hijaab but at least your clothes should show some modesty.

to some girls modesty is covering their heads, to others its covering their bodies so just let them be!

But just as those hypocrite hijabis are trying to cover up their sins under their hijab, other non-hijabis are also trying to use this idea of modesty being in one’s heart as an excuse to get away with many things.
And that is why I’m not judgemental towards anyone, I simply don’t have the mind-reading power to judge anyone. Your clothing style doesn’t matter to me, your lifestyle does.
Unless ofcourse a girl is walking around in a masjid in a mini skirt, and saying daant worry people I’m super modest at heart… in that case I will tell her to go find a dupatta!

i totally agree. yes - we have all witnessed the odd hijabi who goes around with an outfit that totally defeats the purpose of hijab BUT that doesnt mean that others should use this to claim that modesty’s in your heart and mind..not necessarily in a hijab. our religion explicates females to observe the hijab so as to compliment their modest attitude/behaviour. and so hijab is that of mind AS WELL AS BODY. just because you seem some girls tearing this concept apart does not allow you to exclude the physical hijab from overall modesty.
please dont use those girls as an excuse for yourself. =)

Just recently I was walking with my husband in the middle of the city centre in a very busy park.....and there were a few benches there where alot of elderly etc people were sitting as well as others.....and many people were walking past as its a busy pathway in the middle of the city centre.....i was also walking past the benches section when i was soooo surprised to see this:
a hijabi with very decent clothes on (a long skirt with proper top and hijab) was sitting on a guys lap and kissing non-stop. everyone walking past was looking at them and they were not bothered.....she even saw me and my husband but carried on kissing and it was proper french kiss type. They were about 18/19 years old....and they were definately not married....i was so shocked to see this....in the past i have seen many pakistanis, asians etc kissing and also modern hijabis but this one seemed so "decent" and if i had seen her anywhere else....i would never have guessed she could do that....in public in the middle of the city centre
imagine what she was capable of doing in private...if she could do this in public.

it didnt matter to her whether i did or not.....
ive seen some other hijabis kissing as well in public.....but this one stood out from all the rest for some reason...
I just think the next generation here in UK are getting very bad....i thought our generation was bad but i guess not...
