What is the difference between the Cafe and All Views?

Sometimes I don’t know where to post things. All Views seems to have more actual sentences in the posts, or am I mistaken?
Whenever I have looked into the Gupshup Cafe, it seems like a lot of teenybopper textingtalk. I prefer whole sentences and even properly spelled words, myself, being a grownup…

Are there any actual guidelines about what is most appropriate for which board?

Yes, well, Cafe is more laidback.. and you don’t really need to discuss things; can talk about whatever you want, whereas in All Views there’s usually discussions taking place :vivo:

All Views is where you can discuss a topic and expect serious , mature replies and a quality discussion. Cafe is where you wanna go to just hangout.
However on occasions we do make exceptions, like this returning guppy opened a thread today asking whereabouts of old members who used to post in Allviews (formaly knows as General). This sort of threads belong to CAfe but on this occasion we made an exception.

***Simply put All Views is where you can have a quality discussion on just about any topic .

So AV is where you post if you are looking for ******serious replies and a discussion on just about any topic . Most of our regular posters also prefer full words and proper sentences like you do :D

oh and can a person get warning for flooding in cafe ? and can you get a warning or notice .. by just usin one worddd ?
