I have a simple but bitter question to all of you, what is solution of violence in Karachi and other cities of Pakistan. Being a citizen of Pakistan what are our responsibilities and what should we have to do in this situation. Do you think our politiciansare capable to handle all the bad things going on. Do we have to raise voices are responsible citizen of Pakistan. Is over media / Pakistani talk show fulfilling the responsibilities to educate Pakistanis.
Re: What is solution of violence in Karachi and Pakistan?
What about 15000 mqm target killers. unko paani ke jahaz main betha kar beech samandar main ak american drone ki zaroorat hay. khas kum jahan paak.:)
Yeah that too. But all mqm, ppp, anp target killers waisey hee yateem ho jaeen gaay once their leaders/gods are killed. These target killers cant work by their own. They always have a political support to keep them out of trouble. Once that is gone, they will die by their own.
Re: What is solution of violence in Karachi and Pakistan?
National issuess only? We are talking about Karachi as well, but your MQM-membership stops you from seeing the obvious.
When the MQM commits the majority of killings, since the 80's, it is obvious what the majority actions should be.
Once the biggest cancer is dealt with, you can deal with others.
it is better for him to solve issues within interior sind where ha has vote bank. he should stop abusing innocent farmers and their families. ZM wants to bring same kind of violence in Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sukkher, Nawbshah where majority of MQM reside.
It neither happened in past nor in present. but MQM will surely penetrate in interior sind and give them enough encourage to rebel against land lord like ZM.

If you presented some reasonable points, that would be fair enough, but your above post is teh standard line used against any leader from Sindh.
Not even Dr.Mirza's political enemies have accused him of killing thousands, running bhatta schemes, and torturing thousands and thousands- unlike the MQM which is well known for this.

you cant close your eyes from the problems withing interior sind. thousands of girls raped by wadeeraz/land lord/sugar mill owner like ZM.
Re: What is solution of violence in Karachi and Pakistan?
Who is denying problems in Sindh? Why are you going off on a tangent?
Agreed, if anyone want to discuss those matters, he/she should open a separate thread on it, with proper sources of the news /issue. BTW, for those who are interested in discussing those topics, there is a tip to watch Sindhi News channels, they are covering these news in detail.
Re: What is solution of violence in Karachi and Pakistan?
The only way to relieve Karachi of all this violence in the long run, is to take of the pressure of beings Pakistan's sole economic hub. I think at the heart of all of this, is economics. The problem ultimately seems to be one of excessive competition for limited resources. Everything else seems to flow out of this cut throat competition for limited resources.
The issue between MQM and ANP, can be seen within this context. Here, as has often been the case in karachi, you have sudden influx of people (FATA) vying for limited job opportunities and coming into direct competition and conflict with others doing the same. The influx of so many people, of such rapid population growth, would send shock waves throughout the socio-economic fabric of much more advanced cities, let alone Karachi.
Economic growth, evenly distributed among the provinces, job creation, diversification of economic assets, creating new centers for economic growth, will go a long way in reducing the pressure on a city with already limited resources.
The crime as always has been one of Pakistans leaders putting all their eggs in one basket, instead of diversifying their investments. I realize that other countries have massive urbanization as well, take Mumbai, Tokyo, Shanghai, New York, but all those countries have multiple such hubs, unllike Pakistan which only has Karachi, and Lahore to limited extent.

Well said. This is the best solution and best post of the thread.
Re: What is solution of violence in Karachi and Pakistan?
^^ Agree on that,
Pakistan need to develop more cities instead of spending Rs 50 Billion on Benazir Income Support Program annually, spend it in developing atleast 5 cities under five-year development program.
The first contender for that program can be Gawadar, Thatta, Mardan, Quetta and Bahawalpur.
Invest Rs 10 bn a year for 5 years on these five towns and them into urban cities, with lots of employment opportunities for hundred of thousand people from all over the country and local population...and would ease the pressure off from Karachi and probably attract many to the new locations....
Re: What is solution of violence in Karachi and Pakistan?
Thank you sirs... i believe we have had enough of finger pointing. Blame should not be placed solely on any one person party or ethnicity. Pakistanis are all in the same boat together.
Re: What is solution of violence in Karachi and Pakistan?
The only permanent solution to Karachi problem is development in economically deprived areas of Pakistan, especially KPK and Sindh. This will ease population growth pressure on the city.
Unfortunately, problem in Sindh is the wadera-shahi. These people are always in government, at least on provincial level, but do nothing for development of their people. They are happy living as parasite on money generated by Karachi. This money goes straight to their pockets while common Sindhi people continue to live under their feet. These wadera and their ilk is the biggest obstacle in the development of Sindhi people.
However, KPK may have a better chance of development once the security situation improves there. Nobody wants to leave their homes if they have appropriate economic opportunities available at their own place.
