I personally am very brutal on people who love to talk about big cities in the subcontinent. I’d like to ask them why, but can never retrieve a logical answer. I do not see how one can take pride in a city filled with cow manuer (lahore) or pan stains (karachi). Big cities in the subcontinent are generally ugliest faces of the region. They are vile. Where no one cares about the city physically, itself. There is trash everywhere. Heavy pollution. Crime is like a national past time with every household (yes, even your grandmother is involved…BETA KACHRA BAHAR GALI MAY PANKH DO). I can go on and on.
I understand every metropolis has problems, but atleast most big cities STRIVE to be better. Don’t give me the O YOU NEVER BEEN TO PAKISTAN crap.
Raised in Karachi, and then staying in lahore, I have hated those cities and never understood the relevance of this passion. Home is where the heart is? I think not. Maybe your childhood home, but the city itself. Yuck.
So…come defend your city. Lahore sucks. Karachi sucks.
Lahore's Food ... didnt u goto street food thinggy? I personally never been there ... so have no idea how it is ..but heard it has varietieeeeesssss of different dishes from all over pak
I've seen Karachi, I found it over crowded and dusty, well most cities in pak are, after spending a day in the city, when I come home and blew my nose, mud would come from my nose, due to the dust.
Thats why I spend as much time in my village as possible, cleaner and quieter.
alig reinvented, what do you think about Islamabad ?
