I think getting an unexpected poem/card in the mail (old-fashioned snail mail) is romantic.
Romance doesn’t happen by itself. it takes planning and time IMO. Been married for almost 4 yrs now..we decided early on that once a week we will do something..the rest is gravy. doesn;t take much to send flowers or write a card. it is a matter of commitment…hard part is when you travel as much as I do. But you know what they say about absence.

being serenaded is also romantic. not in public though. that can be embarrassing.
Thats not a fair comparison Matty. On one side you have a life that already has all the romance one can get and on the other side you have a life in want of any romance it can get.
