Re: What is Love?
Love is what you have left when lust and infatuation have already run their course.

Wow! I am really impressed! So true.
What else?
What is LOVE?
There are many answers possible.
If thats the case I’ll never find love. ![]()
Love is…something I have yet to have.

Re: What is Love?
Shak, do not despair.
Its a very fluid concept...means different things to different people.
Why do you say you will never find love?
Re: What is Love?
to trust, care for and respect the other person simple.....and physical attraction perhaps but that aint necessary/important and doesnt happen in all cases

That's exactly what love is! Let me also add that you truly love and care for the person when you have accepted that both of you have flaws and you are able to laugh at them. It's not important that he/she is perfect, what's important is that he/she is perfect for YOU.

Re: What is Love?
so did u have any ideas of yr own abt love?![]()
Love before marriage is complex.
Love after marriage prolongs the great life between couples.
Marriages which are based on arranged method are far better than on so called 'perceived love'** and definitely which are based on just infatuation**.

Re: What is Love?
^why are they better? in what sense?
and say a guy fell in love with some girl and then he takes a proposal to girls family, would that be better or the same as arranged marriage?
or if both of them loved eachother but dont knw eachother, u knw the door door ka pyaar? what abt the shaadi tht follows?
Re: What is Love?
hawwwww naaaawww:eek:
Its when you jump of a 30 storey building for someone and get remebered in stories when you are dead.

To answer first question:
Yes, same as arranged marriage.
To answer second question:
Love without knowing each other? Door Door Ka Pyaar does not really exist. It is something over-rated or just a myth.
Love is not something which occurs at first sight as is written at so many places! Now, with time this may grow on to real love.
Otherwise, it is infatuation and opposite hormonal attraction...like a bull jumping over the 6 feet high fence to get close to cows on other side!
That is why Reha post had wisdom there.
